Ranil AbeynaikeRanil Abeynaike has suffered a heart attack and passed away a shot while ago at a hospital in Colombo.

Abeynaike celebrated his 57th birthday on February 12.

He played first class cricket for Bedfordshire and Sinhalese Sports Club and was widely considered to be one of Sri Lanka's finest cricket commentators.
