Sri Lanka T20I squad should be-
1.Kusal Janith Perera(W)
2.Danushka Gunathilaka

4.Kusal Mendis
5.Charith Asalanka
6.Asela Gunarathne
7.Chamara Kapugedara/Thisara Perera
8.Seekkuge Prasanna
9.Nuwan Kulasekara
10.Lasith Malinga(C)
11.Lakshan Sandakan

12.Vikum Sanjaya
13. Sachith Pathirana
14.Sadeera Samarawickrama(Should replace Kusal Janith Perera if he is still injured)
15.Vimukthi Perera(Left Arm Fast-Medium 135+)Tall Swing bowler who has bowling figures of-
2/45 againist Australia playing for Sri Lanka XI with an Econ of 2.72
2/27 againist Eng Lions playing for SL Pres. XI with an Econ of 2.25
VERY Economical player perfect for T20s and he provides more variety to the bowling unit being a left arm bowler plus a tall person 6 ft 1 in which means he gets extra bounce. But also a swing bowler averaging 26.91 in 62 First class matches and 24.70 in 36 List A matches and 28.07 in 14 T20s Matches.

For people who said  Sadeera Samarawickrama and Charith Asalanka shouldn`t be in the squad-

Look at this news Bangladesh is doing the smart move which is why sri lanka is find it difficult to win a series againist them. there bring in young talents and its because of the fans mentality and the selectors mentality is why sri lanka cricket keep playing players who are failures and don`t have talent. Instead i recommend sri lanka cricket to start to think smart like the other national cricket teams and get Sadeera Samarawickrama and Charith Asalanka as it only a one day trip to the start of the t20s from the finals and its worth doing.

Sri lanka have brought in players a day before a match like Sandun Weerakkody in the South Africa vs Sri Lanka, 1st ODI so it is not going to be an issue

Dickwella and may be Kusal Perera are injured and will not be apart of the t20s

Bangladesh are doing that because their team has been knocked out and won't be in the final. As much as I would like for them to be included, we don't need another's opener (Samarwickrama) or an offpsinning alrounder. They should experience the pressure of a final, it'all be good for them.

Not to mention that there is a series against Zimbabwe where we can give some new players chances.

Mr X I don't think u have the cricket knowledge dear. The difference between BAN and SL is Ban under 23 squad is not going to the final. They are out of the tournament. So that young lad called Saifuddin can come to the island today and have a 2 day gap before playing the first T20.

But Sadeera and Charith don't have a gap like that. After finishing the final on April 3rd 10 p.m. then they have to come to SL and play the t20 match on April 4th 7p.m. Don't make these young talented players to face such a tough situation.

Let them concentrate and winning the final of emergence cup. Then afterwards the champions trophy we have a Zimababwe series in June. Let them introduce to int cricket in that series.

You don't have a even a TOUCH OF COMMON SENSE MATE. Even great legends sanga also recently not happy with changing the team quite frequently.
Why u want a winning combination change when we have WON the past 2 T20 series against AUS and SA???

I understand that this is the squad YOU want but you should be realistic in what is going to be the likeliest squad. Upul Tharanga is most likely going to captain so his spot is secured. Players like Asalanka and Samarawickrama are not going to come in any time seen. How can you put two good Test and ODI players into a t20 match as there Debut? Sure SL did that with Weerakkody, but where is he now? Not in the team. He had a lucky 50 in one ODI and SL realised its too early for him. Whats the point of bringing new players all the time when we already have players with some experience to fit their role. Gunaratne is not going to bat that low down the order. The reason we won against AUS was because Asela batted higher up. Bangladesh have their own way of doing things, doesnt mean that the same will apply for SL. Asalanka and Samarawickrama are playing in the emerging cup, they should focus on that first.
