Sri Lankan junior cricketers making waves in the Gulf

I've been living in Dubai for nearly 17 plus years and have seen the game of cricket rise so rapidly. Played across a few turf pitches and more on cement, expats fill the game unsuprisingly all across the whole of the Middle East.

Sri Lankans in particular hold a special place within the game no doubt. I'd like to periodically bring in the local flavor involving our junior cricketers here who may go on to achieve bigger things in the game. Adrian Berenger was one of those stories, learning his game here and realized he had the skill to compete and took his game back to Sri Lanka a couple of years back. Result - he ended up playing for Sri Lanka U-19's in last years cricket World Cup.
