Having Marvan as a head coach is like having a juggler as a salesman in a China shop. This guy is a disaster, who came through the back door. If not for his beloved BIL, he won’t be in this position in the first place. He won’t get a gig even as an assistant coach for Tajikistan. That’s a fat. I still have reservation about Mark Davies, but being his inception in big league he will be very ambitious and may have different innovative ideas. Because he wants to prove that he belongs here it might work for the betterment of our team. But whether he will get the respect and support from seniors like Mahela, Sangakarra, Dilshan would be interesting. Besides controlling the problem child Malinga will be his biggest challenge.
Even though I would have preferred someone with better credentials, I think Mark will be the obvious choice.
