Hi i am relatively new to this site so apologizes if i am violating any rules un knowingly.

Just waned to know  if there any any enthusiastic video collectors out there who. I have great interest in obtaining old video footages and have spend a quite handsome amount of money from  different shops both local markets and online trading sites as passion has no bounds.

I would personally like to add a few in my collection as i have doing this for past few years. I have collected over 500 plus DVDs(old and recent) and almost 70-80 VHS tapes of cricket footage moistly 80's and 90's. If any one wants to swap/trade footage then most welcome.

Started from humble

Started from humble beginnings. I used to buy some cds during early 2000's here in Pakistan when ever i saved from my pocket money. Lahore and Karachi were the main markets. Pakistan sports was the largest shop that shipped wide variety of sports footage all across the country and abroad. With the advent of live streaming and sites like youtube their business saw a decline. Since people prefer watching online instead of buying it saw a great dip in buying cds and dvds. Pakistan Sports got shut down in 2005 . Its sister setup cd bank operated till 2012.Now only one shop remains in Lahore but they have limited collection as I have almost all the stuff they had.

Some videos were added when i mailed numerous people of different nationalities on different cricket forums like this one to get the footage.I Have exchanged /traded/ swapped rare games which are added to my ever growing collection.

India Pakistan are biggest markets but sadly no one saw this coming. Now old matches are hard to find. They exist only in people hard drives now. Cdstore.com.pk was an online store who provided matches in vhs and dvds from early 2000 to 2012 started but it also got shut down due to some issues like privacy, youtube etc. A few like cricketvideos.com still exist though but they are pretty much nothing compared to the stuff Pakistan Sports boasted off.
