We are struggling to finish.

We are struggling to finish. This is the story about our middle order. I don't know why mahela wanted to bat before Mathews.

@GDLK: Why is Mathews a padaya??

@Gangster: Yeah, we were headed for a lot more. The middle order is a worry, neh? I thought Mathews should have come in at No. 3 because Sanga has had a decent knock in the tournament and its only Mnathews that hasn't got a big one under his belt.

Minnow bashers

Some people have been calling Mahela and Dilshan minnow bashers. Okay, so should they throw their wicket away if the opposition is weak?

Mahela has scored the highest Test score by a right handed batsman against SA, one of the strongest teams. He's got centuries away from home, in Aus, Eng on tough pitches at tough times. He hardly has a point to prove!

Dilshan's average in this tournament is over 50. You can't have an average like that by just beating minnows. He only failed once, against Aus.

According to these people who use the term, it's wrong if the batsman goes for a duck or gets a century.

mahela DOES score against

mahela DOES score against weak bowling attacks. before and after the Australian tour he was in form, BUT NOT during the Australian tour. which says abt his weakness against superior bowlin attacks. even in 2007 WC he didnt put up somethin good, except for the century in the semifinals vs newzealand and against bermuda
