Sri Lanka to play two warm-up matches ahead of Pakistan series

Sri Lanka prepare for Pakistan series with two 50-over matches.Players in Sri Lanka's 30-man provisional squad, who are not taking part in the Indian Premier League, will play two 50-over practise matches in preparation for the series against the visiting Pakistan team next month.

The matches will be played at the Colts Cricket Club grounds on May 20 and 23, Sri Lanka Cricket said today.

The two teams have been named after the captains Thilan Samaraweera and Chamara Silva.


Samaraweera XI: Thilan Samaraweera, Chamara Kapugedara, Kushal Janith Perera, Upal Tharanga, Thilina Kandamby, Kaushal Lokuuarachchi, Dilruwan Perera, Isuru Udana, Dhammika Prasad, Suranga Lakmal, Dilhara Fernando

Silva XI: Prasanna Jayawardena, Dinesh Chandimal, Charma Silva, Lahiri Thirimanne, Jehan Mubarak, Sachitra Senanayake, Farveez Maharoof, Jeevan Mendis, Chanaka Welegedara, Tharanga Lakshita, Nuwan Pradeep

i think both teams are pretty handsome.. its more interesting if CSN will decide to broadcast it live ..

CSN with SLC can organize a few outings for cricket lovers during these days. full telecsts will be too expensive, perhaps radio commentaries.Good performers needed to be taen into the SL Team. Otherwise there is no case for such matches.
