ICC can take a bow, while Sanga scores the best century

The International Cricket Council could well take a bow, because they organized and conducted the final edition of the Champions Trophy in grand style and left no questions to be asked. Every venue where the matches were played - Kennington Oval, Edgbaston and Cardiff--looked a picture and catered..

You can take a bow at the end of a performance but it is up to the Audience to decide if they are going to cheer or BOOO !

In my view the ICC was remarkably lucky to pull off a limited over tournament during a typical English summer without scheduling any reserve days.

It was all a bit of a farce in the end with the final ending in a T20 match and that too played well beyond the scheduled ending time.

Another forgettable ODI tournament and thank God not to be repeated !
