Kumar Sangakkara's e-mail to Nishantha Ranatunga (29/08/2013)

Again, as I pointed out yesterday morning, this was inaccurately communicated when you stated in the email to Hyderabd Sunrisers that I had met SLC and that I had requested a release from Hyderabad which was entirely inaccurate and misleading.

SLC office bearers and officials will not have to personally bear the loss of any release fees($140,000) by me playing for Kandurata, yet my family and I are somehow expected to personally shoulder this loss without any complaint.

I will be very interested to see if in the future when the same situation arises that you(Nishantha) demand the same of other players. -Sanga

Sad state of affairs but no surprises when SLC is involved. Don't believe we need to get in to a debate on who to believe when the characters involved are a thief and a guy who sweats for his nation day in day out! The issue is why is this being played out in this manner? SLC should have made sure they administer matters so that we don't need to engage in this ugly affairs. The mere fact that we are at this juncture is a reflection of the poor administration of the board.

Nishantha having lost face, if he has an iota of shame, should resign forthwith. But he will not do so till the cows comr home.
He is a disgrace. Has he done anything other than receiving money as Sec? Before this Sec was an Amateur. If Sec job is voluntary, will he continue.
All the mess he has created, he is still there hngng to a shawl.
