Before we experience further disaster with our young talented cricketers now playing, they need the right thinking great Sangakara and Mahela back into our team again at any cost, if we are to build a strong team. do.not be proud ,but be humble and call the two greats to serve in our country again.

Thŕey will guide the team build. the team until they see the results. they are srilankan products,I believe if they are given all the respect and rights to select and build the team, there is no team can beat srilanka. Politics must be ' OUT OF TEACH' OF THIS GAME,PLEASE.

The facts are Sri Lanka had much better cricketing talent in the 1980s and 1990s even though they didn't win much for the first 15 years. Arjuna Ranatunga was the lucky beneficiary of a talented Sri Lankan cricket team. However that said, he must get credit for moulding this talent and make the team believe that they can compete on the world stage. The proof was the winning the 1996 world cup by that team. Sri Lanka had a golden opportunity to win another WC and should have either won the 2007 or 2011 world cups with a world beating team. But failed to do so. However I think it would be a good idea for Arjuna Ranatunga to get involved in Sri Lankan cricket right as he is a very smart and tough guy and now as it is on a low ebb and World Cup 2019 just one and half years away. Thats provided he can combine with his shipping ministerial duties.
