How was Ford appointed? Did he have an interview? Without coming to SL and without an interview, how was he selected and who selected him? Was Marsh informed of sacking/ If not it is unfair. It can happen to Ford too.And if Ford is a gentleman, he will not accept post if Marsh was not gracefully asked to quit.If there was an interview, who was in the panel. The board HAS NO ONE WITH CRICKETING KNOWLEDGE UNLESS MAHINDANANDA HAS PLAYED FOR ROYAL.My guess is Sanath advised the Sports Minister in secret. Why does Sanath get involved behind his back? Those who matter like Tissera and Sidath are too gentlemanly to mingle with the notorious.Forget politics and get Arjuna.

Media reports are still sketchy about him taking up the appointment. According to Adaderana news website, he has arrived in SL for discussions and to finalize the contract. All and sundry assumed it was finalized already. Looks like SLC have jumped the gun.

Graham Ford maybe a good strategist, tactician and motivator but he has proved to be unreliable in the past. India hired him and he even signed the contract but he changed his mind and ditched BCCI.

He was short-listed and interviewed by SLC before and he agreed to take up the job - before Marsh - and here too he changed his mind at the eleventh hour.

I wonder why he accepted this time. Or maybe he will change his mind again. I think its erratic behavior on his part. How can such a man be trusted. He might change horses in mid stream when I-know-it-all politicians start meddling again.

SLC should give an explanation as to why Marsh was sacked.
