Sri Lanka as cricket nation is finished that the plain truth, SLC trying to organize tours to fill in their coffers so they have more money to use for corrupt practices.

Sri Lankan cricket is finished that is a fact, does not matter who coaches, captains, plays for this bunch they have had their time in the sun.

Sri Lanka should be relegated to the second tier to keep test cricket interesting.

The scary thing about "blocking all calls from Kabul" is it actually could be relevant as there is a very real prospect that the debutante winning their first test match since the inaugural test match between Eng and Aus!
The rest of the story is plain for all to see - all but the honorable man and the government who are the only people who can make the change. This is not rocket science that needs a lengthy debate, for example, how do you expect a bunch of guys playing 3 day cricket to compete at 5 day cricket at international level? Another, 500 players simply dilutes the standards to say 85 guys playing in 5 teams.

The flip side is but Sanga played in the same set up and became one of the best in the world which is a fair comment. But, the international game has moved on and become totally professional. When Sanga came in to the game there was no IPL and the game was different. We can't just sit on a structure that doesn't work and keep referring to 1996 and a school cricket structure that is the best in the world. After a while and you lose series to Zim, you kind of sound stupid and that moment has arrived!
