Bhammer says the deal SEV has signed with SLC is for 7 years not 15.

I'm not sure who is giving us the correct picture, but this is what the Sports Minister told BBC in May,

“Two weeks ago, cricket board officials were presented in front of COPE to enlighten them on the deal with Somerset. After SLC informed COPE of the details, they agreed to sign the deal with Somerset,” Aluthgamage told BBC Sinhala by phone on Wednesday.

“According to the new agreement, we were able to reduce the number of years Somerset had been awarded rights for the tournament from 25 years to 15 years.”

Aluthgamage says SEV was awarded the contract for 15 years.
