We have vindicated ourselves: SEV

Somerset Entertainment Ventures (SEV), organisers of the Sri Lanka Premier League (SLPL), yesterday said it hoped the success of the inaugural SLPL would vindicate them, having delivered a ‘Bona Fide’ tournament with all franchises honouring player payments.

hmmm "honoring all player payments", that's something new :D at least here in SL and SLC

"Press" boycotting the league, cus of 'all indian affair' can be put down to typical sri lankan "pettiness" (where they wait for someone to fail, then have a party pointing it out shouting "told u so!!"
wonder if they know that in English Premier League that 95% of clubs r owned by non-british(mostly Americans, Arabs/Asians). Then again with people like Mr.Clementine and Mr. Thomas, we can't really expect anything better than this
