We are now a well balanced team. Mahelas captaincy is better than sangakkara.

Both Ashantha De Mel and Mahela Jayawardene are doing well as the chief selector and as the captain of Sri Lanka. They did it in the 2007 CWC too, and nice to have them back.

Owesum how the commentator lost it in the end!! It was an exiting finish. Thisara is proving to be of great value.

With our fast bowling all-rounders Mathews, Maha and Thisara we're building a nice combination for the next World Cup in Aus and NZ in 2015. I hope the selectors won't forget that when we come back to the flat, turning pitches in the sub continent. These three guys can win a game alone, be it batting, bowling or fielding.

Almost perfect balance between experience and youth and the fact that even the tail can bat makes this team perfect under these conditions.

Agree on your near perfect balance in all aspects. This could be the basis of a winning combination for 2015.The only changes for the present that I may propose is to get Randiv's (alternative Sachithra) mojo back, as his multi dimensional talent including the save 20 run factor in fielding will give us an edge vs Herath and to have a spin all rounder alternate for (Kule or Maha) in Asian wickets such as Pathirana (age and Hitting gives him the edge over Jeevan). Come 2015 there may be a couple of young batting replacements to the aging top, such as Rajapakse or Munaweera.
