With Sri Lanka defending a below par total and facing a must-win situation in their final group match in order to qualify for the semi-final of the ICC World Twenty20, veteran left-arm spinner Rangana Herath, who was playing in his first match of the tournament, came to Sri Lanka's rescue to demolish New Zealand at the the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on March 31, 2014, with a sensational bowling performance of five wickets for just three runs — the third-best bowling figures in T20s. The Kiwis were eventually bowled out for 60 runs in 15.3 overs, giving Sri Lanka a 59-run win. AFP PHOTO/Prakash SINGH
