[Video] The Team arrives - Mahela addresses media in Sri Lanka

Mehala Jayawardene upon his arrival at the Bandaranayake International Airport spoke to the media on the team's harrowing experience.

"A lot of guys were really lucky. To be honest with you there were bullet holes in our bus - everywhere. There wasn't a place where there wasn't a bullet hole," said a tired looking Mahela.

The video also contains footage of the cricketers boarding a Pakistani Air Force helicopter. The players seemed fairly relaxed considering what they had just been through.

Dilhara Fernando and Ajantha Mendis are seen taking photographs of the helicopter prior to boarding.

Cool, calm, and collected they shot into the van carrying the umpires and match officials. They sprayed bullets and rocket launched grenades at the Sri Lankan Cricketers' bus. A dozen or so men attacked the Sri Lankan cricket team and the ICC match officials including Simon Taufel, Steve Davis, an Chris Broad.

In the video Pakistani security official Nadeem Sayed states the target of this attack was the Sri Lankan Cricket team.

Update: Sanath speaking to CNN IBN stated that the players are safe, and the injuries are not critical.

The Sri Lankan Cricket team has been fired at by gunmen in Lahore. The team bus has been sprayed using Kalashnikovs.
