Yuvraj 'Waterboy' Singh loses his cool

After Yuvraj Singh lost his place in the Indian Test side to Suresh Raina, the middle order batsman had been asked to carry drinks for the team. There is nothing unusual about this. The 12th man always carries refreshments and gear to those in the middle.

PhotoSo, during a break in play on the first day of the ongoing third Test, while Yuvraj was happily skipping away to the middle with drinks, a section of the crowd started chanting "Waterboy". Singh lost his cool and gave the crowd the middle finger.

You think that's bad? Listen to this,

The Indian team manager, Ranjib Biswal, says that he is not going to speak to Singh - a supposed role model - about his behaviour. Instead, he wants to file a police complaint against an entire group of spectators.

Taking note of the incident, Team India manager Ranjib Biswal said they are planning to file a police complaint against the fans who jeered Yuvraj.

"We are mulling to lodge a police complain against the fans who had tried to jeer Yuvraj when he had come out to provide drinks during the match," he said.

Complaint against spectators? Then 80% of Indian fans watching any match at any Indian stadium should be jailed. This is really funny.

the funny thing is that the manager is making it look like Yuvi was this innocent angel who did nothing and was picked on by the crowd,he even says Yuvraj "acted with a lot of restraint",I wouldnt call showing the middle finger acting with restraint.

Whats the abusive language they used? They have not broken any laws. This is a bloody shame! Look how the Deccan Herald is reporting it.

It was the members stand so it was not just anyone. They will probably take action over this as well. Imagine then in Australia when the chanted "no ball" to Murali for hours, or when Indian crowds called Symonds a monkey and had banners with Symonds portrayed as a monkey???

Did Symo or Murlai use the middle finger? Restrain Yuvi not anyone else. People are well within their rights to express what they want and shouting "water boy why arent you playing" even 1000 times is not a crime.
