 15. Kusal Perera

Sri Lanka will most likely want to give some matches to some of there inexperienced bowlers so that they get used to match situations before the World Cup 2019.
Also with Chandika Hathurusingha wanting players in the squad to the World Cup to have at least 10-15 Matches. Sri lanka has no choice but to in trust in their young players. Both Lahiru Kumara and Kasun Rajitha have proven they can take responsibility in the West Indies.

I think Kusal perera should play as the wicket keeper batsman and he should bat at no.04
And these conditions, we should play 2 spinners( probably Akila and prabath)

Shehan Jayasuriya is useless player. He is doing nothing for the team.

Kusal Perea is just coming off an injury so I`ll probably go with Niroshan Dickwella for the first 2 Games then maybe consider changing for the last 3 ODI`s.

Also, Shehan Jayasuriya is the perfect All-Rounder he can bowl like Ravichandran Ashwin and Bat like Kumar Sangakkara. With Akila bowling off-spin and leg-spin, I think that covers it. The XI I post is the Best Possible XI and considering the World Cup next year we must give youngster sufficient matches before the tournament.

Poor Upul Tharanga was left in the dark for over 2 months without any match practice since the Super-4 Domestic tournament. What kind of double standard cruel treatment is this by the selectors. Mathews was given the warm up game before test series after his brief break & Dimuth was considered for Odis again on his test form. But Upul had one of the best 3 performing odi batting record in the world in 2017 & continued through 2018... but no chance what so ever in Test cricket as well. Shame...shame ...shame!
