The "crisis" created by the Packer World Series was brought on by greedy and incompetent administrators who kept money for themselves. Players were paid a pittance and rough conditions, all that slowly changed.

Now we are seeing greedy administrators from these 3 boards do the same. Their interest is their own not for the good of the game. It's a shame there is no modern day Kerry Packer to come save the other 7 test teams and associates to form a separate world cricket entity.

A the present the BCCI, CA and ECB may generate the most interest in terms of sponsorship, media etc, but if they were left to just play themselves how long will this last? Eventually fans will get sick of watching the home team thrash the other 2....which is what has happened between these 3 teams in the last 12-18 months.

It's a shame some of the test boards bow down and give into bribes, and offers of short term money without thinking ahead of the bigger picture.
