Not sure when those averages

Not sure when those averages were measured but around noon time it gets hot especially during the dry season. Even a few hours of baking in the sun is enough to kill off the grass. You can water daily but during a match. To replicate bounce is another matter. If it was easy to replicate the bounce at Wanderers everywhere then all SA wickets would be like that. The Port Elizabeth wicket was not as bouncy and quick. So even the South Africans cant make every wicket in their country as fast as bouncy as Jo'burg.

But none of this matters. You can prepare on surfaces all you want but Rabada and Philander were good so you cant replicate that quality of bowling. Let us give credit to them and not make all kinds of excuses like thinking the pitch alone is the reason for our defeat.
