A new survey has revealed that cricketers in the Indian Premier League are the second highest paid sportsmen in the world.

According to a study by sportingintelligence.com, IPL players came in at a close second place at £48,243 a week to American National Basketball Association (NBA) players, who average a yearly pay packet of £50,487 a week.

So they make more than football players too then. How do the franchises and the league come up with this cash?? Something fishy here.

Franchises will get benifited

The franchises have invested big money for buying team as well as players.Also they got to play the players on every season.It will take years for the franchises to make profit out of their team
