3. Chandimal
4. Sanga
5. Mahela
6. Matthews
7. Thisara
8. Kula
9. Sachithra
10. Eranga
11. Malinga

Note
I feel that dilshan will not perform well in these pitches specialy under pressure. He will play purely due to his experience and not because of his cuurent form. its high time to replace him with chandimal. Then Lahiru can bat at no.3 or 4 position.

At least for the first 3 matches, I think the top 7 is set. Kule and Malinga too are certain to start. Given that we only have one 'genuine' fast bowler in Malinga, Eranga will play to avoid a total dependancy on a group of gentle medium pacers. Conditions and also new rules would mean only one spinner to start with and Senanayake's current form in the IPL (especially the experience of bowling first-up in the power plays) will likely see him get the nod over Herath.

This team looks thin on batting with Perera coming in at #7. In English conditions, a team like SL could easily be 5 down before the 25th over. So there might be the temptation to play Thirimanne at the expense of Eranga and go with just 3 front line bowlers and hope Perera, Angelo and Dilshan can make up 20 overs. This would be a very bad approach in England.

Where SL will regret the most if the decision to replace Welegedera with Dilhara. Having already got Perera, Angelo and Kulesekara who are all medium pacers, adding someone very much the same in Dilhara did not make sense. Someone like Lakmal who has pace would have been the best choice. He might go for more runs, but can get you wickets

I think we need Herath for the NZ match. He should bowl just outside the off-stump, and get the ball to go away from right hand batsmen and the arm ball for a change. I think NZ has more right-hand batsmen.

Uppercut, machang you have

Uppercut, machang you have covered the whole squad.

Dinith I feel that Dilshan will have to play because of the off spin option and the fact that he has bowled well in the Windies game.

SPGC I love the idea of 3 spinners but with the 2 new balls and the new fielding rules I doubt it.

Do you guys think that Mahela warrants a place if he is not going to open ?
