Lets see the numbers and decide

Laskshan Sandaken 52W with avg of 23
Suraj Randive 50W with avg of 28
Amila Aponso 47W with avg of 20
Milinda Pushpakumara 39W avg of 25
Chamikara Edirisinghe 34W avg of 17
And surprisingly Dhananjaya Silva 34 with avg of 14
Dilruwan Perera 24 with avg of 31
Tharindu Kaushal 42 with avg of 31

I choose from someone from these three Sandaken.. Amila.. Edrisinghe. Sandaken is a chinaman who can be deveoped in to good mystery bowler. Amila and Edirisinghe is the next inline. May be selectors and coaches can decide who is best. Because I only seen Sandaken and not other new comers. Dhananjaya Silva can come as a batsman who can bowl. Suraj Randive is a right armer so if Sri Lanka preper right armer for left armer then he should get the chance.

Chinamen for me

I would go with Sandaken for the mere fact its such an ususual art. People are still struggling to pick Brad Hogg and he has been playing for years.

Vandersay ?

@anonymous The question asked was who should replace Herath. Vandersay is already in the team as a second spinner. He may retain his place unless perform really badly in upcoming tours. I don't think Sandaken will be picked for test squad in England but there is a high chance in ODI and T20 squad along with Vandersay. Of course unless selectors wants go back to their usual non performing players like senanayaka or Seeku.

no point bringing in new

no point bringing in new players, we have spinners like jeffrey vandersay and tharindu kaushal, we cant make the same mistake again by ditching players and trying new ones every game, we will not find any consistency. only two spinners we should focus on are tharindu kaushal and vandersay, but we must also groom two back up players and thats the two players we should be discussing now
