 Anyone ever measured bowling speed without a speed gun?? there used to be a formula to go along with the stop watch, but cant find it anywhere...

The length of the pitch is 22

The length of the pitch is 22 yards or approx. 20 meters.
Bowling speed = 20/(time taken by the ball to reach the batsman counting just after the release in seconds)
This speed is in the units of meters per second.
If you want to calculate it from km/hour units, you just need to multiply your answer by 3600/1000.
