Let's also be realistic, the

Let's also be realistic, the Aussies have a good new ball attack and after seeing the way Hughes got out, I think we have a lot on our plate tomorrow against the new ball.

Will be interesting to see

Will be interesting to see how our middle order fares today. None of the Aussies except Ponting have played here, a good contest ahead.

It's going to be very hard

I think we gave 50 - 70 runs too many due to over bowling Randiv particularly to Hussey. Dilshan should have taken the responsibility and bowled at least two overs earlier ( than the over in which he got him out) to Hussey. I am talking about the 2 overs in which Hussey hit 2 sixers off Randiv.

70 runs may not seem much in a test match....I hope I am wrong !

First session and being positive

Seeing out the new ball will be the most important part today.

We'll also have to be positive on this pitch. Just blocking will not help at all because this track will assist the bowlers and there's a few in the Aussie attack who can produce beauties.

There goes Dilshan

Oh well Dilshan sue did his thing ! Putting a debutant on top like that.....I am really getting confused. Opening like that in test cricket is it the answer ?

Maybe he should bat at no5 as suggested elsewhere ?

Be more careful

Out batsman have to be more careful than this. They have to respect Copeland. He lacks pace but his line and length is immaculate!

The problem with creating

The problem with creating dust-bowls that turn from day one, is that we have to bat on it too.

Anything else is ok but why a run out?!!! Specially Mahela's wicket!
