Bangladesh series buildup was overshadowed due contract crisis, now the contract disputes have been settled and we move on to the first test to be played in Galle from 8th -12th of March. Do you agree with the decision to drop Thilan Samaraweera from the test squad? pick you final XI for the 1st test.

Thilan

Hard luck on Thilan, think selectors have done it with correct intentions to play a young side.

@Daniel, yeh Kithuruwan pretty much sealed the deal and pushed Sam out with the blistering 168 in the tour game!

@ UC_7 - Yea, and Tharindu Kaushal is in fine form too, another master class from Sanath, easily the best selector we had.

My XI

1. TM Dilshan
2. Dimuth Karunaratne

6. Dinesh Chandimal
7. Jeevan Mendis
8. Nuwan Kulasekera
9. Shaminda Eranga
10.Rangana Herath
11.Tharindu Kaushal

Jeevan Mendis is a definite choice as he can be third main spinner in the attack as Galle pitch is fast becoming a spinners paradise. His batting abilities puts him ahead of a regular batsman.
