@Theekshana

For me, the biggest problem with our fast bowlers is keeping them fit.Welegedara looked so impressive on the SA tour then broke down with injury and since then has never played consistently and there are many more as well.First we need to sort out the injury problem before concentrating on anything else.

Wicketkeeping &

Wicketkeeping & Vice-Captaincy don't seem to be affecting Chandimal's batting at all!! Great signs!!

much better day...

esp since Lakmal was not bowling :)
@sulaiman : fair point.
Sanga is still not getting anough credit for what he does. over the time their careers overlapped i wonder whether you can make a case for him being better than Tendulkar
Chandimal : impressive. nice avg to start with :)

@Theekshana, if last 5 years

@Theekshana, if last 5 years were considered Sanga is definitely ahead of Sachin! especially in tests. However Sachin was considered a prodigy from the age of 16, whereas Sanga was a late bloomer.

I would say...

I would say that even over the last 10 yrs in tests he might be still ahead.. and thats close to the time Sanga started.. i have a feeling than Tendulkar is not retiring because he is afraid of Kallis and Sanga catching up.. :)

but i have an uneasy feeling that its boring Mr Cook who is the real threat..
