Any updates on Thilan's injury? Will he bat in the 1st Inns?

Herath

@UC_7 - Herath might top the ICC test bowlers ranking end of the match..

01. D Steyn 858
02. S Ajmal 832
02. V Philander 832
04. R Herath 828

(Above ranking points were updated before the match started)

Btw - M Clarke has overtaken Sanga in the batsmen ranking.

thanks @daniel for the info. Heard Sam needed stiches.

@sdf, relax bro, the team management just has to do one thing:
just let Sanga know that Clarke has overtaken him in test batting rankings. He will bat till next week!!!! :D)))

Sanga

Sanga either hits top form or get out for 0, it has become a pattern now.

Btw Herath has taken SIX 5-wicket hauls in his last EIGHT test matches. Talk abt consistency!

Thanks UC_7, hope Samare can bat, SL badly need him.

Herath

Herath is in top form, thats a positive going into the Oz series.. between it will be nice if other bowlers take a bit more responsibility and perform better.

Herath at least need one more

Herath at least need one more bowler to stand up and support him, just like Wela did in Durban. And ofcourse the batsmen have to drag the game to 4th, 5th day. If that happens SL will have more chances to challenge oppositions.

Anyway this is a good chance for Mathews, and an absolute 'gift' for Para. Last chance to prove his worth!

First hour is very crucial

First hour is very crucial tomorrow, if we get through it without loosing a wicket then we can build on it.
