@ #34, pls don't compare

Yashoda Lanka looks solid, but its too early to compare him. What I noticed from both Kithuruwan & Yashoda was both play confident shots, Not just hammering, Better technique & Importantly looks strongly built :D

Kithruwan Vithanage and

Kithruwan Vithanage and Yashoda Lanka are over 6 feet tall, strongly built with powerful and clean shots + solid technique. Angelo Perera looks a powerful strokemaker even though he is short in stature.

Think Sana needs too look very closely at these three for the shorter formats and test too. Janaka Gunaratne looks like he's made for t-20s, forget his age (32), he should be in the T-20 squad for Lanka.

To be honest Yoshoda Lanka

To be honest Yoshoda Lanka and Vithanage looks more impressive to me more than Angelo Perera. They both have better technique against spinners than Chandimal.

@UP: Very true, for me

@UP: Very true, for me Yashoda and Kithruwan look more impressive than Chandi when he first came into the national side. I always felt Chandi's technique is too loose (flashy) to be consistent at international level in the shorter formats.

yeh and that SIX by Vithanage

yeh and that SIX by Vithanage off Dilhara Fernando looks good too! SL do not have many who can clear the rope against fast bowlers apart from Perera and Mathews.

Agree with Uppercut's #37,

Agree with Uppercut's #37, but at the same time it's too earl to come to a conclusion. The problem with all youngsters is they are not consolidating when they come to the international duties. Hope to see at least Angelo & Kithuruwan's action in coming up Zimbabwe series.
