On course!

All on course as far as day 2 goes for SL but would have liked to see Chandi hang out to the close of play. Sanga another start and gave it away - ok he got a substatial score so may be I am being a bit harsh but its been a while! Dimuth - well he hasnt failed, for a while but.. Mission for tomorrow is bat them out of the game.

Garfield Speaks.....

Then for the God sake, Kaushal doesn't need that award. Kaushal deserved the luck today he had for his maiden century after missing out it twice in UAE. Four lifelines, incredible, the no ball one is the most. Pathetic Sanga, now he doesn't possess the great concentrations which he used to have in tests. Could have easily crossed the 150 mark again. Karunarathne yet again proved lack of determination.
Pitch is going to be spinning in next 3 days, has already started to turn well. So Herath & Diluruwan may have a special job to do in the second inning.

@Garfield, i guess that's the

@Garfield, i guess that's the downside of the 'Sanga 2.0' aka 'Aggressive Sanga' we discussed earlier during the recent ODIs. He seems to have lost that 'patience factor' with introduction of aggression to his ODI game plan.

Good

Good to end up the 2nd day having 375/5 at a scoring rate of 3.46. An ideal scoring rate for a test match.
Plan for the 3rd day should be to reach at least a 300 lead scoring at a similar run rate. Because pitch may get difficult to bat later on.

Well Done Maiya!!!!!!

and in other news: Cricket Australia SACKS national assistant coach Steve Rixon: Think SL dodged bullet there when he refused to come for an interview...... got a great idea of his arrogance when decided to spill the details of a confidential interview with who might've been his future employer. #unprofessional
