You'll have a super time

You'll have a super time mate. Accommodation will depend on your budget. How much are you looking to spend per day on hotel stay? Tickets are usually available closer to the series at SLC head office or at the gates. Test matches dont get sold out.

Yeah knowing budget is the

Yeah knowing budget is the key thing and how are you going to travel about? Public transportation in Asia takes a lot of getting used to but trains can be a bit more pleasant when heading out of Colombo to venues in Galle and Kandy/Pallekele.

I started off with the idea

I started off with the idea of going to watch the cricket but tours are expensive and you get to see little of SL. Sri Lanka looks a beautiful country so I delved a little deeper and so far I am Island hopping the Thailand isles before getting to SL on the 17th march and leaving 10th April. Will have 3+weeks in SL to look around the country. First week before tests I am going to the north, then look around the south and cricket.

The 14day tour has turned into 7 weeks :)

I am looking for any help really as this is all new and chasing around with a rucksack is scarey.

The hotels are going to be budget at this point but if I have more money when I get to SL then who knows, sorry I never mentioned it
