Interesting list

I was surprised to see Sorbers was so young when he made what was then a world record 365 in your previous post. I see Gouch is up here as he was another list on 25 best innings. Gouch doesn't feature up with the greats of Sachin and Lara and Sanga but he is certainly up there with as one of the all time greats and what's more he played in an awfully difficult time. The Windies were at their best and Aus were making a comeback under Border and Gouch was a key man for England opening against some of the best fast bowlers in the history of the game.

Nice to hear from you,

Nice to hear from you, Stormy.
Sobers' triple is a rare achievement. To play a world record knock at that tender age just shows how mature he was for his age.
Completely agree with your observation regarding Gooch. He was always a thorn in the oppositions' flesh...a very solid player and a key man in the Eng batting line-up.

Stormy, get you facts right.

Stormy, get you facts right. Same as your prediction that Marvan Attapattu is the best coach to coach Srilanka. We know what happened! He is not even considered for coaching a minnow or an associate member side. It clearly shows your cricket IQ.

He is not GOUCH. His name is GRAHAM GOOCH.
