I have heard about the potential of both Angelo Perera and Bhanuka Rajapaksha but havent seen them bat. What i have heard is that Angelo Perera is an explosive batsman who could roll his arm over effectively and that Bhanuka is someone who has decent technique, talented, top order batsman who need to improve his temperament.

Lot of people had lot of

Lot of people had lot of expectations with B.R specially after U19 world cup which he captain and played very well. But after that he couldn't maintain that intensity at first class cricket. if you look at his strike rate you can see he is very explosive but not consistent with his rum making. He didn't do well in SLPL as well. But when he going he make very big hundreds. He is still very young lets hope he can find consistency which very important to play international cricket.

I am very exited about Angelo Perera. he don't have that much reputation as some of the other young guys but little I saw he can be grate asset for SL. he is a one guy who can play attacking cricket but yet consistent with run making. normally attacking players don't have high average, but if you look at AP he very consistent. even he did well against England and in South Africa with the A team. guy is still 22+ selectors should give him a chance sooner than later.

Angelow Perera is one of

Angelow Perera is one of graet young talets going around Srl Lanka. Im very impressed about his First class proformences. He is in his best form of life life i beleve. He got a chance to bat against England in the practice game with England last year and made 80 odd runs at no time. and yesterday he made a blistering hundred for Wayamba provice against Kadurata with a Strike Rate of 151 with 6 sixes and 11 fours.I beleve HE IS THE BEST PLAYER GOING AROUND THE NATION WHO DOSE NOT GET A ODI CALL UP YET!

Bhanuka Rajapaksha has long

Bhanuka Rajapaksha has long way to go, his stroke play is not solid enough and plays too much loose strokes, he not gonna be successful @ int.. level with current skill sets, I saw somewhere he has commented that his favorite player is Adam Gilchrist, you can see it from way he plays, I think that answers his lack of solid stroke play.

He should adopt K Sanga as his Batting role model, which will help him in long run.

yes he looked good @ U19 world cup in New Zeland, and even Simon Doull in ESPN commentary team covering the tournament ranked him highly, but something have gone wrong somewhere and not much development of skills have taken place thereafter.

Loads of talent (But dissapointed with Bhanuka)

I am a big fan of Bhanuka from his school days, but he is not living up to his potential and talent. Kushal and Kithruwan were his parallels and we were not expecting them to play for SL. At this rate I will not be surprised if Kithruwan makes a breakthrough before Bhanuka.

Out of the 2 in discussion, Anjelo is much consistent than Bhanuka, I hope both these boys will make the SL team sooner than later. These two have enormous amount of potential. Hope they live up to that.
