Sri Lanka prepare for Champions Trophy with four warm-up matches

Sri Lanka will play a total of four warm-up matches in England next month as preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy.

The first official warm-up match of the tournament will see Sri Lanka taking on Australia on May 26 in London.

The islanders will arrive in England on May 18 and will be based in Kent, where they will conduct training sessions to acclimatise to English conditions.

Apart from the two official warm-up matches, Sri Lanka and Scotland are scheduled to play two 50-over games at The County Ground in Beckenham, Kent on May 21 and 23.

Sri Lanka's second official warm-up match is against New Zealand at Edgbaston on May 30, with their first match of the Champions Trophy taking place on June 3 against South Africa at The Oval.

May 21 - Scotland v Sri Lanka, Beckenham
May 23 - Scotland v Sri Lanka, Beckenham
May 26 - Australia v Sri Lanka, The Oval
May 30 - New Zealand v Sri Lanka, Edgbaston
