We are an Independent nation. If I remember correctly it was almost 70 years ago when we cut the ties off the colonials!! They think they are still have jurisdiction over us. This is so typical colonial behaviour. Having seen them behave like imbeciles even in premium seats, its the right call to send them sit on plastic seats. I hope SLC and the Government stick to their guns and not to give in to these morons. Having said I still think we have bent backwards by agreeing for £1.50. It should at least be £20. It is peanuts for them offering to donate money to local clubs.

This has nothing to do with colonization or anything overly complicated. It's not like if I rock up to Lords and request a ticket, I will get a discount because I am from Sri Lanka! All over the world, prices for events are sold at the same price regardless of nationality so why are we in SL trying a cheap trick by charging the Poms exorbitantly high prices?

What SLC should be focusing on is ensuring we have a sufficient support team to drown the Barmy Army. It's a disgrace that we tests at home and the most prominent sound is the Barmy Army.

It is everything to do with colonialism. If SLC the wanted to charge more because they are not local government it's SLC's prerogative. I believe Sri Lanka government or SLC the should not give in to the Barbaric Barmy Armies request. And they should be able to sit in the outer and not to mix with the locals. It will be at least curtail the noise and sledging of those imbeciles.

Agree with Stormy. We should look at the bigger picture and understand the value and foreign money they bring to the country, apart from watching matches they do tourism and what ever they purchase here will be financially benefited to the country.
