Chandimal, Gurusinha and Hathurusingha orchestrate Sri Lanka's darkest hour

Absolutely, there are too many cooks spoiling a very good soup! Most responsible head coach and the manager shouldn't be continuing in SLC, further if at all to believe SLC to flourish in decency. Arrogant coach cannot further coach a team in decency. Coach and the manager must resign from their responsibilities with immediate effect and hand over the recipe to One cook to make the soup delecious.

The article is spot on. Disgraceful and dumb behaviour. And I'm expecting our response to the charges to be equally disgraceful and dumb - if not even more so.

Further to my previous comments...

I like to add few fresh ingredieants, so that it will help a new chef who ever coming to cook the SLC menu will give a delecious meal to the SLANKANS as well as the rest of the cricket loving people.

Recepie
Efficency mix with knowledge
(Mix well until you see a golden surface)
Maturity with decesions (making transparent)
Politics free (glutan free)
No nuts (no favouritism )
No Greek nor slavery (all island flavours) should be mixed
Young talents to decorate
Cook the meal with a Lankan Chef flour with all pass tents to get an authentic dish where everyone can enjoy it.
Good luck!

Folks this is not SL's darkest hour, this is a crazy headline for a minor event. A darkest hour would be when we lost to Zimbabwe at home and nearly lost a test to Zimbabwe!

We cannot be dropping everyone at every corner and what's more Hathu just got here so unless he has committed murder lets all take deep breath and give this guy a chance.

In my opinion, I understand the management view. If there was such a charge firstly, it should have been done the previous day. Secondly and more importantly, with evidence which was not provided at the time. I am happy for him team to take up a stand and not be rolled over. Yes it can get ugly at times but we are not playing for a kotthu roti here.

Stormy - this cannot be a matter of opinion. Either the ICC allows for the Umpires to lay charges the following day or it doesn't. And if it does allow for it (which I suspect it does otherwise SLC lawyers would have jumpd on it), then it is childish and immature of our management to throw a hissy fit and refuse to play because they don't like a particular law. The responsible thing to do was take the field and play under protest and handle the charges accordingly thereafter.

But, by acting like Sri Lankan parliamentarians, captain, coach & manager face the prospect of being barred for the all-important home series against SAF. I'm all for taking a stand, but not whenever you are taking a dump - it could land on your leg :)

@Confused, I would very rarely get in to responding but your comment is truly hilarious - dump landing on your leg! Man that is funny and well said and good analogy too. Your right, unless the ICC could not have done it they wouldn't have and the decent thing for us was to get on with it. Fair call mate and as you correctly point out, if we miss either of these for the SA series, it really would be a case of standing up while taking a dump....LMAO!
