England skipper Cook injury doubt to face Sri Lanka

England captain Alastair Cook could be ruled out of Sunday's second one-day international against Sri Lanka at Chester-le-Street with a groin injury. Twenty20 specialist Alex Hales has been called in as cover and will make his one-day international debut should Cook fail a fitness test.

Have ECB realised that they made a mistake by leaving out Hales from the ODI squad? :D :D And is Cook's injury real or is it just some dirty trick to invigorate the side?? :/

Seems like Farbrace has learned a thing or two from his time with Sri Lanka. Whenever Sri Lankan selectors want to drop a player they say he is injured. Has Farbrace taken that tactic to the England camp now?
