Its great to see Murali (and Sanga) doing work with the lads of these areas and I am told even during the height of the war, following the cricket was the once constant for both waring factions.

Not sure how much of the "gun money" from the disapora is flowing in to the north & east but wouldn't it be great to see some of these huge reserves being used to promote the game. There are few better ideas in modern society than promoting sports for kids and while its great to see some of the legends of the game doing their part, it would be even greater for the "diaspora" do their part.
