it was alleged that he was involved. There is an investigation going on and the case is obviously will be with the courts decide. Who the hell are you to post article already framing him as a guilty? Is there any chance of you posting the truth about Raina having his batting practice session at night with a mystery woman. What about your paceman Mohammed shamis attempt murder case? Any chance of you posting them? Is it because it's your countrymen are immuned from public scrutiny? Or is it case of one rule for your countrymen and one rule for others?? Why don't you answer my question?

The ban will be for SLC player code of conduct breaches which he has a record for indiscretions already as opposed to rape incident per se which he has not been charged only named as present.

Discipline is a must. Contracted players, or any players are employees of SLC and like any other workplace be expected to adhere to their code of conduct.
You can get away with warnings and fines on first offence but keep doing it in short space of time and harsher punishment required.

I wouldn't be surprised though if penalty is done in a way to make sure he is still eligible for WC selection if needed.

Anyways he needs to pull his head in if he wants to continue career at top level. Characters are fine, ill-discipline is not!

as it's stated by kollupitiya police..

"Sri Lankan batsman Danushka Gunathilaka, who has been suspended by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), has been declared ‘innocent’ of any allegations of rape.

This was revealed by the Officer-In-Charge (OIC) of the Kollupitiya Police Station.

He said: “We are not holding any further inquiries against this cricketer.”

I know you use this site as a weapon to tarnish our land and paint a picture to all and sundry that all is not well in my country. It's a so deceitful but down right low despicable act by someone who claims to be a journalist.

Why don't you leave this site for good and let us handle our own issues rather than putting up with your daily garbage.

You should be ashamed of yourself.
