Du Plessis calls for harsher punishments for ball tampering

South Africa captain Faf du Plessis who has been found guilty of ball-tampering twice (UAE 2013 and Australia 2016) and been on the receiving end of it at least once (by Australia, in 2018) has called for the ICC to "apply harsher" punishments to those who are caught altering the condition...

hahaha...now he has gone the hypocritical path.
Ok maybe has seen the light and now changed his mind!

There were issues in SA last tour to SL wasn't there?

Hopefully it's bat and ball legally doing the talking this series and not all the other stuff.

Will be a good challenge for youngish SL side against solid opposition esp for the batsmen against their pace attack at least this one on home tracks before the similar challenge of Aussie attack in Australia.
Shame this is only 2 Tests
