Yes it must be said SL have had a good test show in recent times and remember we also beat Pakistan in Dubai not so long ago, something no one has done. The Windies wickets were totally doctored for their bowling (no issues with that - just don't cry when it spins in SL like the Saffers!) yet we still managed to hold that series, which we really should have won!

However, the tours to Aus, NZ and SA will be a serious challenge. Traditionally even with the likes of Sanga and Mahela around, these have been tough tours and this time will be worse with so many younger players.

The thing I am looking forward to most is our pace bowling unit, which if fit, could be useful. Lakmal is now a good bowler - still cannot get over that this guy has ONE 5 wicket haul in his whole career! I guess we can only expect Chameera to play a test or two before he is out for another 6 months but Lahiru Kumara and Rajitha are decent options.
