To put this in to context, the great Wasim Akram, by many accounts the greatest fast bowler ever, reached 414 in 100+ test. The same mark was passed by Herath in 89 tests. Yes stats is not everything but it's hard to ignore in a game measured in numbers. Like Murali, Herath will never get the accolades but the record never lies. Insanely two SL's now lead the wicket takers tally for both left and right arm bowlers!

Well done Herath. Terrific achievements in his career.
Hopefully full accolades and acknowledgement will come when he is finished and people sit back and look at his record
