It'll do a world of good for the Country if you both had retired right now. You were not the best available, when you were 1st brought into the Side by the selectors from your 2 respective hometowns. Since then [ from very young age ] both have been picked for every touring Side, either 1st XI or 2nd XI, thus ruining careers of many a deserving youngster. The offie was 1st introduced as a bat though, he was unheard even as a player at that time, after trying him as an opener both these 2 were brought in for a T20 match against AUS as bowlers in dropping AjanthaM, a time when Ajantha was the No1 ranked T20I bowler in Aug 2011. Due to this serious incompetency in elected officials of last 15-20 years. SLan Cricket has been suffering heavily [ most of these officials are unknown as Cricketers ] under these officials. I am not sure what the guy above is on about but this is expected and a huge loss of a great servant for us. What a great achievement for Ranga to end up as the greatest left armer ever.
