ICC pushes Sri Lanka to make fixing illegal

Match fixing could become a criminal offence in India and Sri Lanka following pressure by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The ICC anti-corruption unit is in Sri Lanka to lobby the government as it investigates cases of corruption on the island.

Who puts a bookmaker in charge and then wonder why there is a match fixing issue - a sucker for punishment! The irony of it all the ICC investigators first met with the President and the Prime Minister.
