I was supporting Malinga all through his career, highs and lows. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt for not being selected to the side, despite him being out of form. But this Mali.... doesn't look good on you buddy. Your country comes first. You shouldn't be mentoring other players when you are still contesting for a spot for a side. I thought you learned the lesson from Bumrah. You tought him a bag of tricks, only to be taken your own spot in MI squad. Leave them, come play in our provincials. If you couldn't get selected, at least you will be blooding a young Sri Lankan to carry on your legacy....
