Mahela and those 'bloodless coups'

Former captain Mahela Jayawardene yesterday dismissed as baseless a gossip website claim that his agent controlled the affairs of the national cricket team. Ironically, it was only last week that Mahela fully backed speedster Lasith Malinga, who attacked Minister of Sports via a gossip website.

One was a gossip article from an unknown website and other is a interview with Malinga on Hiru Gossip. What an insane comparison he has drawn?

He has left an important detail out... hik hik hik... Rex worked for Mahela's manager and ever since Rex was fired from the 'mud site' Rex had been attacking the manager!

Also, while on the topic of match fixing. I wish Sanga explain why he decided to drink heavily at the Lighthouse (resulting in him throwing up in public) on the 4th day of the Test in Galle when SL was well set to win against RSA they went on to script a famous victory.

All the best international athletes have managers/agents and top cricket nations like Australia and England have strong players' associations.

This is to ensure athletes are not ripped off by crooks at the cricket board and other sports bodies.

The players' rights are safeguarded by their representatives. This attempt to make it seem like agents/managers have special powers and control the entire board is nothing more than another attempt by politicians and crooked officials to turn the public against the players' representatives to make players comply and confirm to unfair working conditions.

Without lawyers and managers the players become toothless kids.

Sri Lankan masses are too stupid to understand any of this.

I checked on Google and that man Charlie Austin owns many businesses in Sri Lanka and is a foreign investor who has created many, many jobs for locals. Look at the way our imbeciles are spreading malicious rumours about him? No foreign investors should come to Sri Lanka. Stay away and let our morons forever live in a dengue infested hell hole.
