“If my services are not required any longer as a player, it’s time to move on,” Malinga said. “I know there’s still cricket left in me and if I cannot contribute as a player, I am ready to venture into mentoring leading up to the World Cup.”

This is the saddest thing i have read in a while. It was an absolute privilege to watch Sri lankas best Fast bowler live in his prime. I only hope new plays can learn from him And bowl FAST. Nothing is as exciting to watch as a genuine fast bowler, something Sri lanka has never produced until Malinga.

What? Nepal is there… IPL selection for foreign players was a joke. Malinga & Tissara Perera, etc are world renowned top players that can participate in other world leagues. Hopefully, both participate WC2019 to move SL beyond round robin stage.
