The pay should be compatible to an executive position in private industry. So that people can choose it as a career.

Pay is not the main problem, the problem is the quality of cricket, with so many clubs the playing quality is diluted!

Exactly! Pay is not the problem, it is the standard of the games being played. I thought it was odd to see so much of emphasis on pay when the committee plan on a new structure was revealed.
