Sri Lanka fret over Kusal Mendis' fitness

Already handicapped by several injuries, Sri Lankan have more worries with concerns over the fitness of top-order batsman Kusal Mendis. The 23-year-old hobbled off the field after attempting to cut down a boundary while fielding in the deep during Sri Lanka's six-wicket loss to India on Monday...

If Mendis injured we should bring a full package player into the squad. Dhananjaya can open the inning. I believe these pitches are good for spinners. Wanindu Hasaranga can be a good option. Akila Dhananjaya, Amila Aponsu, Jeevan Mendis, Wanindu hasaranga, Dhananjayade Silva, Dhanushka Gunathilake. all these players can be used as spinners. SL fast bowlers are not threatening to opposition. still they have nothing learnt from the past. too many wide, short pitch deliveries & fulltosess. It is wise to include a front line spinner, front line batsmen or batting allrounder rather than a ineffective pacer.
